For years I have been dealing with multiple chronic illness including MTHFR a gene mutation that has caused recurrent blood clots, pericarditis asthma, vocal cord dysfunction, Tracheomalacia. seizures , ASD and many more diseases. However, I was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome on May,05,2020 ; a rare auto- immune disease that causes spasticity of ligaments and painful muscle spasms. There is currently no cure for this disease due to it affecting one person out of 1 million. We as a community hope to find a cure and be  able to use our voices as a community to help find effective treatment.
